In partnership with Get Further, we are proud to be offering free, small-group tutoring for some of our GCSE students this year.
This tutoring is part of a research trial run by Get Further and the University of Warwick. They are researching the effectiveness of small-group tutoring in helping students build confidence and pass their GCSE maths or English resits.
If you’re selected for the tutoring programme, you’ll get:
- Weekly, 1-hour sessions on the [Name campus] with a high-quality tutor at a time that fits around your work and college schedule – delivered in groups of no more than 3 students.
- Free booklets with exam tips and practice questions.
- Tailored support and individualised feedback to help you set and achieve your goals.
Students who sign up have a 50% chance of free tuition. However, students who do not get offered tuition will be entered to win Amazon vouchers and can add to their CV that they participated in an education research trial – a great opportunity either way!
To sign up, you must:
- Be in your first year of resitting your GCSE English or Maths at our Bromley Campus
- Not be booked in for the November exam
