You will study:
- Working safely in an engineering environment
- Working efficiently and effectively in engineering
- Using and communicating technical information
- Wiring electrical equipment and circuits
- Installing wiring support systems
- Maintaining electrical systems and equipment

Entry Requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Math
If you do not meet the requirements for the Level 2 course, you may be offered the Level 1 Electrical Installation course

Assessment
Assessment will be observation of practical activities that will take the form of a series of assignments developed in the respective practical workshops and written assignments for each unit

Moving Forward
Provided you fulfil all of the course requirements, you may be able to progress onto a
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology
- Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
- Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of - Electrical Installations.
- Or employment although not as a fully qualified electrician
